Scope
This notice explains how AMF Limited handles information in the Night Stalker: 1985 app and on nightstalker1985.com. The app and original browser experience share a name, but their data practices differ as described below.
The app collects no data
The app does not create an account and does not send personal information or gameplay activity to AMF Limited. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK.
- No name, email address, phone number, or account profile is collected.
- No precise or approximate location is collected.
- No contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health information is accessed.
- No advertising identifier, cross-app tracking, or behavioral advertising is used.
- No crash report or usage analytics is transmitted to a developer-operated service.
What stays on your device
Game progress, choices, evidence, score, and preferences are stored locally so the story can continue when you return. AMF Limited cannot see or retrieve that information.
You can remove local app information by deleting the app. Apple-controlled device backups may preserve app data according to your backup settings.
App Store purchase
The app offers one optional non-consumable in-app purchase, Unlock Full Case. Apple processes it through StoreKit. AMF Limited does not receive or store your payment-card details, Apple Account password, or complete App Store receipt. Apple may process transaction information under its own privacy policy and may provide developers with aggregated sales and financial reporting.
The website
The original browser experience stores progress in your browser’s local storage. That information remains on your device unless you clear the site’s storage. The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
Like most internet services, the web server may create limited operational and security logs containing a request time, requested URL, network address, and browser information. A separate first-party event counter is deliberately configured without IP addresses, cookies, or request bodies. We use these records only to operate, secure, and understand the reliability of the site.
Information you choose to send
If you voluntarily join a website update list, we store your email address, confirmation status, referral or source code when applicable, and related timestamps. We use that information only to confirm your request, send the promised update, measure referrals, prevent abuse, and honor unsubscribe requests.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any device details or attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer the request, troubleshoot the product, and protect the service.
Every update email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future mail; we may retain a minimal suppression record so that choice remains honored. You may also ask us to delete information associated with your address.
Sale, sharing, and retention
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be handled by infrastructure or email-delivery providers only as needed to run the service, or disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Local app and browser data remains under your control. Website operational records and voluntary update-list information are kept only for the operational, security, legal, and communication purposes described in this notice.
Security and age
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the limited website information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Age ratings vary by storefront and region; follow the rating shown in the App Store where you obtain the app. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information.
Your choices and requests
You may clear website storage through your browser, delete the app to remove its local data, or unsubscribe through any update email. Because app data never reaches us, we cannot retrieve app progress from our systems.
Email support@onesmallprompt.com and include “Night Stalker: 1985 privacy” in the subject.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the product or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, the site, or another appropriate channel.
